Initial consultations typically last 60-90 minutes and can be conducted in person at your location or via video call. During this meeting, we discuss your vision, lifestyle needs, budget, and timeline to determine how we can best assist you.
What to Expect
Initial Response
We respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours. We'll ask a few preliminary questions to better understand your needs and schedule a consultation at your convenience.
Consultation Process

Project Proposal
If you choose to work with us, we'll provide a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work, timeline, and investment. This document serves as our roadmap for the project.
Business Hours
Our office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time. We schedule consultations and site visits during these hours, though we can accommodate evening and weekend appointments when necessary.
For urgent matters or questions outside business hours, please leave a message and we will respond as soon as possible on the next business day.
Consultation Details
In-Home Consultation
We visit your space to assess the current layout, natural light, architectural features, and your lifestyle needs. This allows us to provide recommendations tailored specifically to your environment. In-home consultations typically last 90 minutes and include a walkthrough of the space, discussion of your goals, and initial design suggestions.
Virtual Consultation
For clients who prefer remote meetings or are outside our service area, we offer virtual consultations via video call. You'll share photos and measurements of your space, and we'll provide design recommendations through screen sharing and digital presentations. Virtual consultations are equally effective and often more convenient.
Office Consultation
You can also visit our office at 452 Tehama Street for an initial meeting. This is ideal for discussing your project goals, viewing our portfolio, and getting to know our team. Office consultations can be followed by an in-home visit if you decide to proceed with a full project.
What to Bring to Your Consultation
To make the most of your consultation, we recommend preparing the following:

- Information about your budget range
- Any existing furniture or items you want to keep

After the Consultation
Following your consultation, we'll send you a summary of our discussion and initial recommendations. If you decide to move forward with a full design project, we'll prepare a detailed proposal that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and investment.
The proposal includes a breakdown of design phases, expected deliverables, and payment terms. We're happy to answer any questions and can adjust the proposal to better fit your needs and budget.
There's no obligation to proceed after the consultation. We want you to feel confident in your decision, and we're here to help you determine if our services are the right fit for your project.
